PPS sample test evidence
The reports below apply only to the submitted samples and the conditions stated in each report. They are not blanket certification of every product, batch or end use.
SGS PPS heat-resistance test · 260°C
Report GZMR230400973801 (24 Apr 2023): two submitted PPS hook-and-loop specimens were exposed at 260°C for 5 minutes. The report records no ignition or melting; measured length/width shrinkage was 1.5%/1.6% and 1.4%/1.2%. The method was provided by the client and the report gives no pass/fail judgment.

Report AJFS2406007424FF (5 Jul 2024): the submitted natural PPS hook-and-loop sample was tested to NFPA 2112:2023 clause 8.3 using ASTM D6413/D6413M-15. Five specimens recorded 0 s after-flame, 36 mm average char length and no melting or dripping; the report conclusion is Pass for the tested sample.

Report SHC21020034-01E (24 Feb 2021): the submitted high-temperature flame-retardant PPS hook-and-loop sample recorded an average burning rate of 0 mm/min, with the flame front not passing the 38 mm mark line under the stated horizontal-burning conditions.
